All our parks are wheelchair accessible, but the terrain does vary on some of our marked and measured routes. They may also be affected by adverse weather.
The Green Chain walk
Running through hundreds of parks and open spaces as part of a 64 kilometre (40 mile) network of signposted footpaths, the Green Chain walk offers some of the finest landscapes and views in south London.
In Royal Greenwich, the Green Chain begins at three points along the Thames, climbing up from the river through Lesnes Abbey and Woolwich Common. The three paths converge at Shooters Hill, and descend towards Eltham and over to Grove Park. The Green Chain Walk finishes at Crystal Palace Park.

The Thames Path walk
The Thames Path is a traffic-free walking and cycling route that runs the majority of the length of the Thames through Royal Greenwich.
The walk crosses Greenwich and Bexley boroughs from Greenwich, to the Thames Barrier through Woolwich, Thamesmead and Erith to Crayford Ness and the River Darent in Kent.
