The Royal Borough of Greenwich has launched a pioneering new tracker to give regular updates on key issues such as homelessness, climate change and the cost of living.

Our Greenwich’s new dashboard gives residents and stakeholders greater insight into how we're performing against the biggest challenges that we face as a Council.

A spokesperson for the Royal Borough of Greenwich, said: “Residents, partners and local businesses helped us write Our Greenwich, so we owe it to them to show them we’re not sitting on our hands. This dashboard makes it even easier to see how we’re doing, what we’re achieving and where we need to focus.

“Our Greenwich is our blueprint for the borough, and it is by regularly checking ourselves that we make sure we stay on track.

In some areas, we know we are doing innovative work that’s making a real difference but there are other areas that, for lots of reasons – some out of our control - we have more work to do. We’re inviting greater access, insight and accountability to make sure that we build a Greenwich that is truly Ours.”

Published in 2022, Our Greenwich is the council’s four-year strategic plan, which is complemented by an annual action plan.

The dashboard has been published alongside the latest Our Greenwich Annual Plan which contains new data revealing:

  1. 89% of residents feel Royal Greenwich is a welcoming place, and 82% are satisfied with where they live.
  2. More residents think new developments are benefiting their area (65% compared to 45% in previous data).
  3. More residents feel the Council acts ‘a great deal’ on their behalf (65% compared to 54%)

The new online tracker is available on the Our Greenwich dashboard, alongside the plan in full and its annual updates.
