What we're thinking about building on this site

At Aberford Gardens we would like to build:

  • Seven net zero carbon three-bedroom council houses with rear gardens.

These houses would be between one- and three-storeys in height to let light into neighbouring properties.

Each home would have its own front door and access to cycle and bin storage from the street, with bin collection from Aberford Gardens.

The development would be set back from the neighbouring buildings to ensure privacy for neighbouring properties.

The homes would be built to net zero carbon standards, with a contemporary design that contributes to biodiversity and greening in the area.

Below you can see an initial street view showing how the proposed development would look from Aberford Gardens, facing south.

How can residents have their say on our plans?

Residents will be able to view and comment our first proposals for this site via our online consultation, which will be open from Saturday 8 February until Sunday 16 February.
