Summary
New start-up businesses are passionate about their ideas and products, but often don't know how to get these messages across.

Excellent story telling is at the heart of successful businesses, and this course aims to upskill people to be able to tell compelling, convincing stories that will increase their customer base and increase revenues.

By the end of the course you'll be able to:
• Identify the key elements of a successful and compelling story
• Understand how an effective personal story can enhance your product or service
• Learn how to write an engaging 'about me' story for use on your website
• Understand the concept of a press release and be able to construct your own
• Pinpoint opportunities for positive PR and networking to help grown your brand

This is a short, 4 session course with some additional work to be completed between sessions. As such it is important that you commit to attending all of the sessions.

Please note this course is fully funded for London residents (fully registered for the course). If you live outside London, please contact georgia@gcda.org.uk for more information about costs.

Due to previous experience with large numbers of people booking onto courses and not turning up, GCDA will take a £10 deposit for each course to help ensure attendance: You will be eligible to get the deposit back if you attend every session.

If leaving a £10 deposit is a barrier because of financial difficulties, please contact training@gcda.org.uk to talk to GCDA about this.

Contact GCDA at training@gcda.org.uk if you have any queries. You can also use this same email address if the course is fully booked and you would like to be placed on a reserve list.
