Me Learning
- What we do

Me Learning and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, work in collaboration with the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Lambeth and Lewisham, to offer a suite of Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Care Act, Make Every Opportunity Count and Frameworki online courses.
These courses are offered to employees, workers, volunteers and members of the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector within the Borough.
Both the Council and Me Learning Ltd are committed to ensuring that your personal information and privacy is protected.

- Why we need your information and how we use it

The information you provide may be used by the Council and Me Learning to:
- Administer and register the online training you have signed up for
- Validate your registration (for those without a Council, Oxleas or NHS email address)
- Support you through the lifecycle of your online learning
- Monitor online training registration and completion rates across partner organisations and sectors, feeding back to the Council management and partner organisations
- Monitor compliance and performance by individual staff for performance management and legal compliance purposes
- Monitor and report on anonymised equalities data
- Remind you when your training is due for renewal or if you have recommended or incomplete courses
- Determine the effectiveness of the online training and enable us to enhance, modify or otherwise improve modules/services by collating and analysing the feedback you leave as part of or following your completing the online modules
- Identify and deliver training opportunities to ensure that the Council's workforce and partner organisations have the skills necessary to best serve the community.

The legal basis for collecting and processing your personal data is:
'To carry out a task in the public interest and exercising official authority vested in the employer by virtue of legislation (for example ensuring that staff are adequately trained to safeguarding children and vulnerable people within the community)'.

In order to access Me Learning you will need to complete a self-registration form. You will be asked to supply the following information:
- Username
- Title
- Name
- Email address
- Mobile, work and home number (optional)
- Organisation and team name
- Sector
- Service
- Group (for instance job type)
- Photograph (Optional).
- Who we may share your information with

- Royal Borough of Greenwich - HR Professional Services, Children's Safeguarding Board, Adults Safeguarding Team and departmental management
- Me Learning
- Software providers (including Blue LMS, NTS, Dynamics CRM) for the purpose of administering modules.
- How long we keep your information

Your personal information will be held in line with our Document Retention Policy.
Royal Borough of Greenwich staff training records will be kept for 25 years after termination of employment if working with children and young people, or seven years if not working with children and young people.
Records related to non-Royal Borough of Greenwich employees will be kept for three years after completion of the learning.
