GACO - The 'Greenwich African Caribbean Organisation' is pleased to invite you to it's annual memorial event in memory of our Black African ancestors who lived, worked and died in the Royal Greenwich Borough, during the 1600-1800s. It is a moment for anyone interested to come together with our diverse memories to pour libation and to remember individuals and / events personal to use.

This event is held strictly between the hour of 12:00 noon to 13:00. Afterwards there is opportunity to enjoy the showcase provided by this year by 'Descendants Classic Car Club' and the facilities at Charlton House (a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Mansion built for Royalty and completed in 1612; we believe with profits from the enslavement trade).

Snacks / lunch can be purchased from the 'Mulberry Café' inside Charlton House. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the garden and park at your leisure.
