Buddha Jayanti, Lord Buddha's Birthday Celebration

Buddha Foundation UK (BFUK) is a non-profit and non-political charity organization that was founded in 2017 by Nepalese people residing in the United Kingdom.

The foundation’s main goal is to promote and preserve the teachings and legacy of Lord Buddha, who was born in Lumbini, Nepal. Foundation offers various initiatives and activities that aim to share the message of peace, compassion, and mindfulness from Lord Buddha taught and appreciate his wisdom.

Foundation also organizes seminars, workshops, and supports research projects, publications, educational programs that focus on individuals personal and spiritual growth.

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you at the Lord ‪Buddha's birthday celebration 2024 Day General Gordon Square, Woolwich, London on 2nd of June 2024, Sunday to mark the 2568th Birth Anniversary of Lord Gautam Buddha.

The ceremony aims to reinforce Lord Buddha's message of peace, unity, and social harmony. Nepal & its rich culture will be reflected on the day through various cultural performances. ‬‬This event is organised in collaboration with Nepalese Embassy in UK and Nepal Tourism Board and is supported by almost 100 Nepalese Organisations in the UK. Ambassador of Nepal to the UK, His excellency Dr. Gyan Chandra Acharya and diplomats from various embassies will be attending the ceremony.
