FreeEager Cycle Coaching is delighted to be partnering with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to run a number of themed cycle rides over the coming months! Join us on our free led-ride for families from Woolwich Arsenal to the O2 and back. This ride is suitable for adults and children aged 10 and above who can ride with control.
This ride will be largely traffic-free using the Thames Path and segregated cycling infrastructure. The route will take us along the lovely Thames Path, past the Thames Barrier, and up to North Greenwich. After reaching the O2 Arena, we’ll enjoy a short break before riding back to Woolwich Arsenal. The ride will depart at 9.45am sharp from outside Woolwich Works in Woolwich Arsenal (The Fireworks Factory, 11 No 1 St, Royal Arsenal, London SE18 6HD).
Please arrive at 9.30am so we can start the ride on time! You’ll need to bring your own cycle, which should be in good working order. Remember to wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for the weather. We recommend you bring a snack and something to drink for the ride. This ride is for families or individuals living or working in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Children attending the ride must be supervised. Places will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you don't get a place, email us and we can add you to a mailing list to notify you about future rides. Happy Cycling!
