Love Your Local Market

Throughout the day there will be an exciting mix of street-food stalls, workshops, craft activities, entertainment, children's rides and a bouncy castle. 

Street-food stalls will be open for the length of the event including Kebabs, Sushi, Nepalese, Indian, Chinese, Somali, Ethiopian vegan, African, West Indian, South American and Paella.

Activities include:

Gardening workshop – 2pm to 6pm

Healthy Start workshop/Demo – 12pm to 6pm

Good Food In Greenwich workshop – 12pm to 6pm

Badgemaking – 3pm to 5pm

Drumming from Taru Arts – 4pm to 6pm

Craft activities – 5pm to 8pm

Steel pans from Play It on Pan – 6pm to 8pm

The Love Your Local Market event in Woolwich is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It is supported by the Mayor of London’s Night Time Enterprise Zone. The programme is aimed at boosting high streets and town centres for the benefit of businesses and residents.
