London’s only peninsula destination is hosting a packed programme of workshops, performances, food and drink to mark the Lunar New Year. Celebrate themes associated with the snake including creativity, renewal and transformation.
The day's highlights include;
• Enjoy showstopping traditional Dragon and - new for 2025 - Lion Dance performances across the Peninsula, symbolising strength, prosperity and good fortune
• Discover the art that lies at the heart of Chinese culture with the Splendours of Henan Exhibition at FirePit Art Gallery
• Celebrate all facets of East and South-East Asian culture at the Eternal Market by Eastern Margins with a host of independent traders
• Explore your creative side with block printing, bamboo weaving and Chinese knots workshops
• Marvel at the paper lantern installation by Yi Crafts
• Learn all about the traditional tile-based game, Mahjong, and even have a go yourself
• Tuck into delicious Asian cuisine with street food vendors dotted around the Peninsula as well as your favourites at Canteen Food Hall & Bar
