We’re going on a newt hunt! Newts spend half of their lives on land – we will be looking for newts in the places where they love to live in the Ecology Park and finding some of their delicious minibeast food along the way
12.30 to 1.30pm
Discover the world of water minibeasts! We will have 2 paddling pools of pond water set up in our walk-in meadow for you to use mini pond nets to find the amazing range of minibeasts that live in our lakes. This activity is suitable for older children but we will have a separate mini pond for younger children to have a go at fishing out minibeast toys.
2 to 3pm
