Discover your creative voice through writing and music-making in our brand-new free workshop programme!
Whether you're curious about writing, love to sing, or just enjoy exploring new ways to be creative, ROOTS is the perfect place for you. Over six sessions you'll collaborate with writer Jennifer Farmer and composer Vahan Salorian to co-create lyrics and music, inspired by local stories that matter to you.
In this fun, inclusive space, you'll have the chance to explore Woolwich's rich heritage through storytelling, music-making, and performance.
Whether you're interested in creating (words, lyrics, music) or performing (singing, instruments, spoken word etc), these workshops are open to all levels - no prior experience needed!
Join us to build confidence, develop new creative skills, and connect with the local community. At the end of the programme, you'll have the chance to showcase your creations!
