If you get care and support from the council, we’ll check that you’re happy with the care you’re getting.

We’ll also see if your needs have changed.

A review is a chance for you to tell us:

  • if your care and support is meeting your needs or if your situation has changed
  • you feel you need more support
  • you feel you do not need as much support
  • what is working well and what’s not working

This may lead to a change or an update to your care and support.

How we review your care and support

If your care and support plan has changed and you’re using new services, we’ll usually book a review 12 weeks after you start getting that support.

After that, we aim to review your care and support every year.

Residential and nursing care reviews

If you get residential and nursing care, we’ll book a review shortly after you move. This is to see how you’re settling in and check if you’re happy with your care.

Residential and nursing care reviews will also happen every year.

Ask for a review

You can ask for a review of your care and support or your residential or nursing care at any time.
