Choose if a care home is right for you

We commission and regularly review a list of residential and nursing homes.  

You can choose to use one of our contracted care homes within the Royal Borough or choose a different one.  

If the cost of the home is more than the agreed rate for our contracted care homes, you will have to pay the difference. 

We can give you information about care homes in the Royal Borough of Greenwich that suit your needs. 

You can visit different care homes before deciding where you’d like to live. This can help you to:  

• meet the carers and other residents living and working there 
• talk to the staff about your needs and how they can support you
