Sexual health advice

You can book an appointment with Greenwich Sexual Health (GSH) to get advice and services to help you look after your sexual health. 

You can book an appointment to: 

  • choose the contraception that’s right for you 
  • get contraception like the implant, coil (also called intra-uterine device or IUDs) or the hormonal coil (also called intrauterine system or IUS) fitted 
  • get abortion advice

Specialist contraception

If you’re registered with a Greenwich GP, they can refer you to Greenwich Health for free long-acting reversible contraception like coils and implants. 

Book an appointment to fit long-acting contraception 

You can book an appointment with Greenwich Sexual Health for:  

  • most contraception such as pills, patches, injection and coils 
  • basic STI diagnosis and treatment information 
  • gynaecology services (you'll need a GP referral) 
  • psychosexual therapy and counselling if something is affecting your sex life
