Bid for social housing

Log in to Greenwich Homes using the registration number we sent you when we accepted you onto the housing register.
You can bid on properties, or you can add them to your basket and come back to them later.
There are lots of options for you to translate the online bidding pages into other languages:
You can bid by text using the number 07786 207 913.
You must write your text message in this format:
Choice Based Letting (CBL), the property reference number, and your applicant number.
CBL is what we call the way we offer social housing to people, as it gives them choices about which properties they'd like to bid on.
The property reference will be on the advert and your applicant number is on the letter we sent you when you registered for housing.
An example of what your text bid should look like is: CBL 179104 12191.
You will need to send a separate text for each property you want to bid on and each text will cost your mobile provider's standard rate.
You will receive a text response to confirm your bid within 5 minutes.
When you bid, you will get a bid position number. This number reflects your position in the list of bids at the time of your bid and how likely you are to get the property at that time.
Your bid position number will change a few times because it is affected by other people's bids and how suitable they are for the property.
We will only consider giving the property to the people in bid positions 1, 2 and 3 when we have received all the bids.
If your bid is successful, we will contact you by letter within 5 working days and invite you to view the property in person. If you refuse to view the property or you do not accept it and you do not have a good reason, we may deprioritise you.
We will only invite you to view one property, no matter how many you bid on.
We will not contact you about any unsuccessful bids, but you can see all your bids in Greenwich Homes.
