What we expect from our landlords

If you want to privately rent or lease properties with us, we need to know that you're a 'fit and proper person'. This will include checks on your criminal and financial status.

If you're using an intermediary such as a managing agent, we'll need to check if the agent is 'fit and proper'.

Advice and support

If you manage and let your own property, we can offer you support throughout the tenancy. We can help you deal with tenancy-related problems, including:

  • tenancy sustainment services to help you liaise with your tenant  
  • rent arrears
  • damage and repairs
