Leaseholders are usually responsible for fixing and maintaining anything inside the home.

If you're a leaseholder we can only help you to repair the building structure, and some things in communal areas. Communal areas include things like:

  • stairs and landings
  • door entry systems
  • lighting
  • drains
  • doors and windows in shared spaces

Before you report a problem to us, check what we can and cannot help you to repair.

By law, we must speak to leaseholders before we do work that will cost over a certain amount. This is because you will have to pay your share of the cost.
