Social value of the programme

The Capital repairs programme has social value that benefits our community, environment, and local economy estimated to be worth £90m.

Our contractors will provide employment, training, and volunteering opportunities to residents during the programme. This will include apprenticeships, and trade qualifications.

They will also support local projects, refurbish facilities, and improve communal spaces. This will help create lasting benefits for residents and the wider community.

Our social value journey has resulted in:

  • sponsorship of 1 Green School Project worth £2340 by Wates

  • support and donation from Mullalley to community projects like:

  • Greenwich night shelter

  • Greenwich construction hub

  • Greenwich food bank
