Internal home improvements are repairs or refurbishments done to the inside of a council home or block. This may include: 

• kitchen and bathroom upgrades 

• electrical rewiring 

• heating system improvements 

• loft insulation 

• ventilation upgrades

Below is a summary of some of the completed internal works: 

In the 2023 to 2024 financial year, we: 

• installed 742 boilers  

• refurbished 503 kitchens 

• refurbished 523 bathrooms 

• replaced 209 toilets (WC) 

• carried out electrical wiring in 151 homes 

• installed 17 radiators 

In the 2022 to 2023 financial year we: 

• refurbished 398 kitchens 

• refurbished 297 bathrooms 

• replaced 244 toilets (WC) 

• Installed 766 boilers 

• Installed 46 radiators 

• carried out electrical wiring in 47 homes
