How to register cooling towers

Many large factories, warehouses and office blocks have cooling towers or evaporative condensers associated with their air conditioning units.

As there is a risk of spreading Legionnaires disease from these units, legally they must be registered with the local authority in which they are situated.

Register a cooling tower

If your company has installed a cooling tower, complete and return the registration form, either online or by post.

Register a cooling tower online

Complete the form and return it to the address given in the form.

If you prefer, you can email your answers to Environmental Health or post the form back to us.
