We have a zero tolerance approach to sexual harassment in Royal Greenwich.
What sexual harassment is
Sexual harassment is any unwanted sexual behaviour that makes you feel intimidated, degraded, humiliated or offended.
Some examples of sexual harassment include:
- a person exposing themselves in a public space
- making sexual comments or gestures
- stalking
- touching or rubbing against someone in a crowd or closed space for example, on a busy train or bus
- watching explicit sexual content in public areas

- report on the Railway Guardian App if the offence happened on a rail network
If you have safety concerns you can report to the police using StreetSafe app.
Safehaven Superhubs
If you’re in danger, feel threatened, harassed on the street, or in need of help, go to a Safehaven Superhub.
These are Safe Spaces in the borough where people experiencing sexual harassment or domestic abuse can find support. They provide a safe and discreet way to reach out to friends and family or contact specialist support services.
