The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) will help strengthen communities, build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK.

We've been given £1,843,103 for 3 years until 31 March 2025.

To use this funding, we had to share a plan for our priorities, outputs and outcomes we'd deliver across two themes.

Our plan for community and place

For this theme, our focus is on placemaking activities that support our approach to build community wealth.

Activities include:

  • improvement to parks
  • public realm improvements
  • festive lighting
  • support for volunteering
  • cost of living initiatives
  • community events aimed at building pride in place

Our plan for supporting local business

For this theme, our activities will support businesses in Royal Greenwich to thrive, innovate and grow.

Activities include:

  • helping businesses become London Living Wage employers
  • support for food businesses who struggled during Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis
  • start-up business support programme giving seed funding to create cooperative start-ups
  • programmes that promote tenders from local suppliers
