What the report covers

The scope of the report includes:

• schools
• Royal Borough buildings
• business travel
• fleet
• plant and machinery.

Future yearly measurements will continue to be compared against the 2009/2010 (base year) figures.

Measurement and reporting information

All greenhouse gas emissions are reported in carbon dioxide equivalent units so that more meaningful comparisons can be made between greenhouse gases.

The report follows guidance published on the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs website.
