Learning disability housing strategy 2017-2022
The strategy reviews the current housing on offer and considers what housing is likely to be needed in the future. It was developed from the findings of a report we commissioned from Golden Lane Housing.
More adapted homes will be built and improvements made to existing homes as part of our five year housing strategy for people with learning disabilities.
Developing housing which better meets the needs of ageing residents and a more personalised approach are among the pledges made.
The strategy was developed with the involvement of:
- people with learning disabilities who live in existing housing provision
- their families
- learning disability MPs from the Greenwich Learning Disability People's Parliament.
