The public leisure centres in Royal Greenwich offer a mixture of swimming, exercise classes, sports facilities and lessons.

Changes to opening times during Christmas 2024

For leisure centres open between Friday 20 December 2024 and 1 January 2025, opening times may change, so make sure to check before you go. 

All leisure centres will be closed on 19, 25 and 26 December 2024, and 1 January 2025. Sutcliffe Park will be open with reduced hours on 1 January.

Coldharbour and the Plumstead Centre will be closed on 24 and 31 December.

Each centre offers disabled access to all or most of its facilities.

The centres are:

• Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club, Charlton
• Coldharbour Leisure Centre, New Eltham
• Crown Woods College, Eltham
• The Eltham Centre, Eltham
• The Greenwich Centre, East Greenwich
• The Plumstead Centre, Plumstead
• Southmere Boating Centre, Abbey Wood - currently closed
• Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre, Eltham
• Thamesmere Leisure Centre, Thamesmead
• Thomas Tallis School, Kidbrooke
• Waterfront Leisure Centre, Woolwich

The centres are operated by Greenwich Leisure Limited, a non-profit Social Enterprise organisation, under their “Better” brand.
