The credit union is a not-for-profit co-operative set up to support local people. To become a member, you must live or work in Greenwich or Bexley and be able to save a minimum of £10 per month.

Most members who want to borrow, apply for a Saver Loan after they have been saving regularly for 3 months. But you can also apply for a Welcome Loan (£300 to £1,000) at the same time you join, if you are in permanent employment or if you decide to have your Child Benefit payments transferred directly to the credit union.
