We do not confirm receipt of your application. 

We'll give you our decision in writing. This can take up to 8 weeks. Your application could be refused at a later stage for road safety reasons, or if we receive objections from local people. 

If we approve your application, it can take up to 9 months to plan and install the space.  

We try to put the space as close to your address as possible, but we must consider: 

• traffic flow 
• residents in nearby properties 
• access 
• road safety
