Use this interactive map to see the areas where primary schools offered places last year.

Select a school

Select a school from the drop-down list below and the map will show:

  • the school's location
  • a circle that covers the addresses of applicants offered a place last school year

Some faith schools do not offer places based on home to school distance. They're not on this map.

Use this map only as a guide. Qualifying distance changes each year depends on the number of applications.

Measuring home to school distance

Schools that include home to school distance as part of their admissions criteria:

  • use a straight-line measurement
  • calculate distance from the centre of the home to the centre of the school

The exception is James Wolfe School where they measure distance from the home address to the former Greenwich Town Hall, Meridian House, Royal Hill, SE10.

You may want to use an online tool to check your home to school distance. For example, the Department for Education (DfE) has a system that measures distance between postcodes.

Use the DfE tool to measure postcode distances
