Select a school from the drop-down list to begin. This will show the school's location and a circle covering the addresses of all applicants offered a place for September 2024 admission. St Thomas More Catholic Comprehensive School and St Ursula's Convent School don't offer places on the basis of home to school distance so they're not on the map.
This information should only be used as a guide. Qualifying distances change from year to year and depend on the number of applications received.
Ability banding
For entry in September 2025, only Harris Academy Greenwich, Leigh Halley Academy, Leigh Academy Blackheath and Leigh Stationers' Academy will be using a banding system. Please contact each school for further information.
How we measure distance
Secondary schools in Royal Greenwich that have a distance criterion as part of their admission arrangements use a straight line measurement.
Home to school distances were calculated using fixed points from the centre of the home address to the centre of the school.
Other measuring tools
There are commercial systems that provide home to school distances. Although not as precise, they can help you consider whether your child may qualify for a place. The Department for Education also provides a distance measuring tool.
