Your guide to opening hours over Christmas
Here’s everything you need to know about using your local services during the festive season.
Waste collections and recycling
There will be revised bin collection days over the festive period.

Adventure Play Centres
Closed from 21 December to 1 January.
Advice Hubs
Closed from the end of Friday 22 December. The first Advice Hub in the new year will be St Mary’s Community Centre on Wednesday 3 January.
Council homes
Repairs and caretaking will run a normal service apart from bank holidays and weekends when there is an out of hours service only for emergencies.
The following services will run a reduced service between 27 to 29 December, from 9am to 5pm:

Housing Inclusion (emergency service for people who are homeless or facing homelessness and need urgent assistance.)

Temporary Accommodation (emergency support for urgent queries or emergency repair issues.

A new free-phone line to report first time repairs is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm: 0808 175 6915.
Cemeteries
Open from 9am to 4pm daily including Christmas and New Year.
Eltham Crematorium’s Chapel and Garden of Remembrance will be shut 15 minutes before closing.
Leisure centres
Closed on 21, 25 and 26 December.
Coldharbour and Plumstead will be closed on 24 and 31.
On New Years Day Sutcliffe Park will be the only leisure centre open, with reduced hours.
Check opening times for any leisure centre that is open as they are subject to change.
Libraries
Closed on 21, 24, 25, 26, 31 December and 1 January.
Open on 20, 27 December and 3 January except for Abbey Wood Library, Charlton House Library, Coldharbour Library, New Eltham, Slade Library and West Greenwich Library
Open on 23, 28 to 30 December except for Charlton House Library
Some will operate reduced hours.
Parks
Open as usual except on Christmas and New Year’s Day, when East Greenwich Pleasaunce, Maryon Park and Well Hall Pleasaunce will be the only parks open.
Healthcare and Emergencies
For minor health concerns, such as coughs, colds, upset stomach, aches and pains visit your local pharmacy.

Live Well Greenwich
For mental health support or wellbeing concerns call Live Well Greenwich free on 0800 470 4831. Open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 6pm.
