Celebrating the best blooming gardeners in Royal Greenwich
Congratulations to this year’s winners of Greenwich in Bloom for being recognised as the best gardeners in the borough!
The annual awards sponsored by the Thompson Garden Centre celebrate the people in our community who work to bring colour and vibrancy to their gardens and neighbourhoods.
On Monday 23 September, winners across the eight categories attended a presentation in Woolwich Town Hall to receive their awards and vouchers to Thompsons Garden Centre of up to £60.
Councillor Jit Ranabhat, Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich said:
Congratulations to this year’s Greenwich in Bloom winners. From balconies to allotments, it was a pleasure to look through the wonderful green spaces created by everyone who entered the competition. Judging them was a truly tough task.
Your gardens make our neighbourhoods more vibrant and attractive, and getting outside to take care of them is a great way to boost both physical and mental health. Thank you to Thompsons Garden Centre for sponsoring the awards."
