The Council is appalled by the murder of fifteen year old Daejaun
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is appalled by the murder of Daejaun Campbell in a stabbing in Woolwich on Sunday 22 September.
It is an utter tragedy that another young life has been lost to knife crime, and we send our deepest condolences to Daejaun’s family and friends. The council is working closely with the police to provide any assistance they need during their investigation.
It is horrific that another family will suffer the consequences of knife-crime, and we understand the impact this will have on the local community.
The Met has appealed for information on what happened, and we urge anyone with any information to contact them directly through 020 8721 4005.
Did you see anything suspicious around the Eglinton Road area? Did you see anyone running away from the area on Sunday evening? Do you have any video footage? If you do then please contact police, you can upload any footage to this link.
