You can apply if you have space to park near your commercial premises. You can apply for a new dropped kerb or an extension to an existing one.

There's a different process to apply for a dropped kerb at your home.

You must pay to have the new kerb built.

Check if you need planning permission

You may need to get planning permission before you apply. For example, if your business is on a principal road or in a conservation area.

Email us to check if you need planning permission, at: planningapps@royalgreenwich.gov.uk

Apply for a dropped kerb near your business

Any business or commercial operator in the borough can apply.

You can apply by telephone, email or post.

If the business is on a public street, road or highway, contact Highways.

If the business is on a council estate, contact Housing.

If the business is on a red route, contact Transport for London (TfL).
