If you know of someone, or an organisation, who deserves recognition for their work in the community now is the time to get your nomination in!

You will need to write why you think they deserve the award in no more than 200 words. The form may time out after 15 minutes, so you might want to write your reason separately and paste it into the form. 

You will also need to provide the name and address of the person you are nominating and your name and contact details.

 
Award category Description
Young Persons Outstanding Achievement Award For a person under 25 years of age who has made an outstanding contribution to their community.
Volunteer Award For a person who goes out of their way to help others.
Community Award For a person or group who make an extra effort to contribute to the community.
Good Neighbour For a person who is helping their neighbours and making their community a happier and safer place.
Teacher/Teaching Assistant of the Year Award To nominate someone you know, that is doing an outstanding job every day.
Sporting Achievement Award To recognise a person who has achieved success through playing, coaching or organising sports in the Borough.
Arts & Entertainment Award For a person or group who have made an outstanding contribution to arts, culture and entertainment in the Borough.
Act of courage Award For someone who has shown remarkable courage and/or bravery.
Lifetime Achievement Award For an individual or organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to the Borough over an extended period of time (minimum 20 years).
Environment Award Commitment to improving the environment/tackling climate change.
Leader's Award Awarded by the Leader of the Council to someone who shows outstanding commitment to and leadership in the borough.
Unpaid Carers For a person who is a local champion for unpaid carers and makes a positive impact locally, while balancing their own caring responsibilities.
