Health

The health and wellbeing of all those who have served in the armed forces is important to the council and we offer a range of support, from physical activity, healthy eating and stopping smoking, to mental health support and support for families.

The NHS and a number of charities provide a range of services to support the mental wellbeing of members of the armed forces and veterans, and we've listed some on this page. If you're not sure where to go for help, the NHS veterans mental health page might be a good place to start.
