You can use our online payments system to pay your Royal Borough of Greenwich bills or fines using a debit card or credit card (except American Express).

Here are some of the things you can pay for using this system, by selecting the type of item you wish to pay:

• Council Tax
• housing and garage rents
• parking fines
• Business rates
• planning applications
• street fines (enviro crime fixed penalties)
• benefits invoices
• other Royal Borough invoices.

The online payment service is available all hours daily except between 6.55pm and 7.25pm to update the system.

Cards that do not support 3D Secure - such as M&S Credit Card and John Lewis Partnership Card - may be rejected. 3D Secure provides an extra layer of security for MasterCard and Visa cards.

There is also a telephone payment service on 0300 332 0202, and it is available during the same hours.

Real time transaction

Whether made over the telephone or the internet all transactions will be validated and authorised in real time and confirmation of the transaction being accepted will be provided to you (by email if you are paying online).

For convenience, you can also set up Direct Debits for council housing charges, Council Tax and Business Rates.

You can also pay in person using the following methods:

Self-service kiosks

You can pay using cash, credit or debit cards in the Woolwich and Eltham Service Centres and the Greenwich Centre. These are accessible during the opening hours of each building. Customer services advisers are available to help you with the kiosks:

• The Woolwich Centre - 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
• The Eltham Centre - 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.
