How much it costs

This table shows the fees for residential dropped kerbs from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025:

Residential domestic crossover in a controlled parking zone (CPZ) and amendment to the existing traffic order£3,536 to cover the cost of the consultation and order-making process, and amendments to signing a lining

There's an extra charge for a dropped kerb extension if we need to remove:

  • street furniture
  • trees
  • public utility apparatus

Quotations are valid for 3 months. 

After 3 months, if we have not received full payment, you'll need to pay a £50 administration fee.

You will not need to pay another inspection fee unless it's:

  • more than 12 months since we granted permission
  • a new financial year (beginning 1 April)

These charges are subject to annual review.
