Issues with your PA

Your personal assistant should have training to assist you safely. For example, so they know how to safely give you medicine or move you.

You should feel safe with the tasks your personal assistant does and how they work with you.

Report issues with a PA

Contact someone if your PA:

  • has harmed or put you at risk of harm by accident or on purpose
  • is treating you like they’re in charge or making you do things their way
  • pressuring you to pay them more money, give them more hours, sign timesheets or invoices that are not right or if you think they’re stealing from you
  • has touched you in a way you did not agree to or that crossed your boundaries

If you’re in immediate risk, call 999 and ask for the police.

If you feel unsafe or are unsure if your PA is treating you right, call us on 020 8921 2304
